story time

I don't talk about it much, but I have more health problems than I care to admit, Reader,.

I've been feeling quite "off" for about 6 weeks, so my business coach and friend reminded me yesterday that I always feel better with regular IV therapy, specifically NAD. If you don't know about NAD, it's...

...known to combat chronic fatigue
...helps with brain fog
...super helpful for me and my flareups

But it's also really uncomfortable to inject. Like, makes me sick to my stomach and feel like I'm having a heart attack for the first 20 minutes. It also takes about 2 hours for me to get the dose I like.

Sitting in that chair, I thought

"Oh my gosh. I can't do this. Who would put themselves through this? It's not worth it. Get out now, Liz!"

Instead of asking the nurse to remove my drip, I simply stated I wasn't feeling well and she slowed everything down.

AND NOW ISN'T THAT ENTREPRENEURSHIP?

We get started, knowing this is what we want...but the second things get hard we start reacting badly.

"I can't do this."
"Why am I doing this anyway?"
"Is this really worth it?"

But instead of just slowing ourselves down to a more sustainable workload, we quit.

We "unplug" before it gets good.

But back to the story about NAD and all that. Let me tell you. After my injection last night?

I feel gooooood. No brain fog. Well rested. Excited instead of exhausted.

Don't give up on your idea before things start getting good.

I know it's uncomfy right now. Painful, even.

That's normal, Reader.

But I know the payoff is worth it.

PS. Here are two ways I've made things "worth it" over the last 10 years.

#1--Using the right email service provider. Kit has always made it easy to send emails and as my business grew, so did it. I'd love for you to come hang with me tomorrow and I'll show you how my Kit account looks...and what I think yours could look like, too.

#2--Knowing how much money I acutally needed to have the life I wanted. The plan was never to make as much money as possible. I always knew my "enough" number that could get me to freedom. And that gave me a realistic goal to shoot for in my launches. Here's a planner thingy if that sounds like something you need, too. (Hint: you do)
